This is vegetarian snack. “Aburage” is a kind of tofu. Thin sliced tofu deep fried in oil. You can find it in the refrigerator or frozen section at stores.
Ingredients
- Aburage
- Spinach (boiled)
- Carrot (boiled)
Directions
- Squeeze excess moisture out of spinach. Make bar with spinach and carrot. Carrot is center. Set aside.
- Slice in half thickness of Aburage and make it square shape.
- Put Aburage white side up.
- Put spinach and carrot on the Aburage and roll it like sushi.
- Secure with toothpick at the end of Aburage.
- In a fry pan, without oil, heat until crispy.
Serve with Kabayaki Sauce or Soy Sauce.
