605 Lipoa Pkwy, Kihei, is the location and the hours are 11AM to 10PM daily. Food trucks are usually on hand to take care of any hunger pains and brewery tours are scheduled throughout the day.
There are several reasons why you may want to visit the Maui Brewing Co. Brewery and Tasting Room, with the most important being the beer. Scott, our tasting expert, rates them the best on the Islands. See what he has to say about some of their better known brews. Bikini Blonde Lager, Coconut Porter, Mana Wheat, Big Swell IPA, Kihei Kolsch and their latest Doppel Shot Double Bock.
Maui Brewing Co., or MBC as they like to be called, is the largest brewer of craft beer in Hawaii producing over 40,000 barrels a year and shipping it to 12 states and 5 countries. And the best part is it is all brewed in Hawaii, at this location. That would be worth seeing.
My love for this company is their commitment to the community where they do business. They buy local and produce local keeping money and jobs in Hawaii. The owner, Garret Marreo, founded the company in 2005 and has kept his local commitment through all the growth. If it can be bought locally Garret does it, even though he could buy for less elsewhere. That includes many of the ingredients, the packaging cardboard and the aluminum cans.
Here are a few more reasons you may want to plan a visit. Happy hour is everyday from 3-6. Wednesdays are Logo Wear days, buy a MBC shirt and drink four dollar beers all day. Tasting the wide selection of beer is part of the fun and that can be done in single tasters or a flight. Once you fall in love with one of them take some home in four packs, six packs, growlers or kegs. You can even buy your home brewing supplies here.
MBC operates a beer pub in Lahaina, another place to sample some amazing home grown craft beer.

Today 3/3/2016 I purchased Castaway from Whole Foods and I noticed that there is a 10:27 3 / Dec 15 15 stamp on the bottle. Please advise.
Thank you,
