Another from the eight pack of two of each type I recently found. I didn’t bother to do the Guinness Stout as I have commented before on that institution and no more need be said. This one however, was a first for me and a nice one.
Poured from a 14.9 oz. can. Ruby brown color with a good sized beige head. Nice flavor and a bit creamy with a smoky, bitter finish.
This one I would buy again outside the 8 pack of “Amazing Ales”. I rate it 3rd in line of the 4 types in this special edition pack. The best being Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale, Second the standard Guinness Stout. Last would be the Winter Spirit.
I would like to find the Kilkenny Cream Ale first but if it were not available, I would reach for this one. There are some places on the planet that have famous portals to pass through. St. James Gate is one. If it passed through that one, I want to try it. You should too!
