Enjoy Crispy Shrimp with your favorite Hawaiian beer.
Ingredients
- Shrimp
- Potato Starch
- Oil
Directions
- Slice shrimp into butterfly.
- Coat shrimp with a lot of potato starch.
- Put shrimp between the plastic wrap. Add more potato starch.
- Smack the shrimp carefully with meat hummer to make shrimp very thin. (I use empty bottle wrapped with cloth)
- Brush off excess starch and deep fry until very crispy.
Tip; You can use the microwave instead of deep frying if you want to reduce the calories. But I’m sure deep fried is better for beer food!
Serve with tempura sauce or just simply sprinkle with salt and pepper.
