Just went to our local liquor store in Hilo Hawaii and got two tall boys of Tsunami IPA from my local craft brewer, Mehana Brewery. This is a very nice IPA! Beautiful dark amber color and substantial tan head. Citrus hops aroma with some malty notes. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops flavor with citrus character. Very hoppy, as a an IPA should be and I find it quite nice and enjoyable to drink.
If you are a fan of strong flavor in your beer, you will like this one. I can’t find any negative about this one. India Pale Ale is what it is, strong, hoppy and full of taste. This is not going to disappoint if you are familiar and a fan.
Rate beer had a few 4’s and that’s where I would put this one. A few said 2.8 or so while having nothing bad to say. They need to step up and either criticize, or rate this brew higher.
Go out and find this one if you want the full flavor experience.
