I just tried another of the barrel aged Sam Adams I found at the store in Hilo. This one is a stout and I have to say it is not my kind of stout. The alcohol comes through a bit too strong and at 9%, no wonder. Hard to put my finger on the taste that lingers that I am not liking but this is not one I would buy again. At a bit over ten bucks a bottle and a cork that takes a pair of pliers to get off, glad this is not addicting like the Espresso Stout from Hitachino Nest.
