It’s this week, L.A. Beer Week that is. The Beach Reporter has the report.
Beer Week is happening June 20 until June 28. What brings this to our attention is the appearance of Garrett Marrero, the founder of Maui Brewing Co. He will be speaking at an event hosted by Rock & Brews El Segundo. This establishment was co-founded by a couple of well known members of Kiss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
Headlining the series of events is Maui Brewing Co. Founder, Garrett Marrero. Marrero brings a collection of Maui Brewing Co. beers with him to Rock & Brews, many of which have never been poured on the mainland before. He will be the guest of honor at a luau and pig roast on June 20, from 6 to 11 p.m. During the event, Marrero will also host a question and answer session, giving craft beer enthusiasts the chance to pick the brain of one of the beer industry’s top brew masters. In addition to the restaurant’s full menu, a wood roasted pulled pork platter will be available, featuring Kahlua pork, potato mac salad, sticky rice, island slaw and a brioche roll for $14.95. The event runs from 6 to11 p.m. Read More.
